A plan for shape, support and proportion.

Breast surgery is planned around volume, shape, skin support and overall proportion. The most suitable approach depends on what you would like to change and what examination shows.

Options discussed at consultation

Breast augmentation

Augmentation is used to increase breast volume. Implant choices and the relationship between volume and skin support are discussed individually. An implant alone does not necessarily address breast drooping.

Breast lift

A breast lift reshapes and raises the breast by addressing excess skin and support. If additional volume is a separate goal, augmentation may be discussed as part of the plan.

Breast reduction

Reduction removes breast tissue and reshapes the breast to achieve a smaller size. The discussion includes your symptoms, desired proportions and the practical implications of surgery.

Planning your procedure

Your consultation should cover previous breast procedures, medical history, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding plans and the change you hope to achieve. Ask which option addresses your main concern, where scars would be placed and what follow-up is needed. Implant-related decisions require a discussion of the device and future care.

Recovery and follow-up

Arrange support and time away from demanding activities according to your individual aftercare plan. Ask about dressings, support garments, work, lifting and exercise. The return to each activity is guided by the procedure and your progress.

Risks and limitations

No particular size, perfect symmetry or scar appearance can be guaranteed. Your surgeon will discuss the possible complications, limitations and alternatives before a final decision.

Plan your consultation

Share your questions and the procedure you are interested in. The clinic team can help organise the next step.
